“I HAVE FOUND THE ARCHITECT I AM LOOKING FOR”

I distinctly remember our eventful and coincidental meeting with you and Krupa during the Euro rail train journey while traveling with my wife and another couple. It was the divine meeting which resulted in your introduction as architects when i was in the process of getting my house built and was looking for something unique and special. And both of us just hit it off with our choices and tastes in hotel; basic design sensibilities just seemed to match. I showed you my layouts and you offered some suggestions that made me feel excited. I also browsed through a brochure of yours and then suggested that a meeting be set up once we were back in India. I distinctly remember calling my site engineer and asking him to stop the casting of basement columns. I told him I have found the architect I am looking for”. When I happened to come to Mumbai the following week to discuss my project, I found that we had a common vision and ideology of making it an elegant and timeless home and we started from there. I recall having mentioned that I want my house to be completed with 3 years including full architecture and interior design. After a few months into the project, you realised the potential of the site and suggested that we opt for the vertical route to take advantage of the height at which the site was located and also to de-litter the space. I wish to compliment and thank you for your personal involvement and the considerable time you spent in the numerous design meetings we had at your office in Mumbai and also a lot of International trips to Europe and Dubai to source extensively for the project that facilitated a lot of variety and the quality that I was looking for.

We have both grown our individual fields over the years but during the course of this journey, what started as a professional relationship has turned into a personal family bonding of brotherhood, which is something I will cherish for life. While for you it may yet another project (though you claim it to be one of your most favorite projects up till now), I thank you for creating and giving me and my family, in the true sense of the word, pleasure and enjoyment of living in a smart home, something that would add to our comfort.

 

If I were to rate your performance for this project, be it customer satisfaction and delight, a sense of pride and accomplishment, uniqueness of the project, its challenges, project delivery, quality, timeliness, cost value for money,
environment friendliness, choice/use of technology, construction methodologist & practices, vast compliance or ease of maintenance- anything I think of and its perfect 10/10 in every aspect. Apart from providing comfort and feeling a sense of wellbeing, this has enhanced my visibility, status, stature, reputation and standing in the society as well as in the town. In the lighter vein, it has truly become neighbours envy, owner’s pride’. While I was always under the gaze of my political friends and adversaries, my home has now brought me and my family under the sharper focus and closer scrutiny from both expected and unexpected quarters, for which the credit truly goes to you. Since a rose also has thorns and sandalwood attracts snakes, every good thing in life has to be accepted with such accomplishments and I cannot complain there. But admirer the creator of this universe.

Hence, once again I would like to end my testimony by profusely thanking you and complementing you & Krupa for creating a permanent source of comfort, enjoyment, well-being, energy and relaxation for me and my family.
